Bottling season is upon us BUT let’s celebrate our red releases before Rosé and White wine take over spring and summer☀️
Featuring Merlot from El Dorado county in the sierra foothills of California. A dry medium plus wine with bold blackberry jam, baking spice and a chalky coco finish. Brought to California in the mid-19th century, Merlot is one of the principal winegrape varieties of the Bordeaux region in France. Merlot is French for little blackbird 🐦⬛ El Dorado County Merlot grapes thrive in high-elevation, mountainous terrain with granitic, and volcanic soils producing premium fruit with “old-world” character. Pair a glass of Merlot with our new braised lamb shank or the Cali burger.
Featuring Alicante Bouschet from Madera County, which lies at the heart of California’s Central Valley. It’s warm, sunny, flat and is cooled by the San Joaquin River in the southwest and the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the east. Our Alicante Bouschet is bold, vibrant and full of character with notes of blackberry and peppery baking spices. Alicante Bouschet is known for Teinturier meaning its flesh is red not just the skin that leads to its inky color. Try a glass with our Steak Frites or the new French dip
