Our last Barnyard Bash of the season was extra special because we got to make our own pizza using Dancing Bear Farm pizza sauce and veggies harvested from the garden!

We’re taking the fall season off from kid’s programming to get ready to welcome Baby Lownie but we can’t wait to see everyone back on the farm in the spring!

We had a special guest at summer camp today! Farmer Emily from Budding Nourishment taught us about the benefits of herbs for our digestion and immune systems. We harvested herbs from the garden to make herb butter and lemonade before enjoying a farm feast together!

We have a rare evening goat yoga class coming up this Saturday at 5 pm, and the forecast is looking good. It’s hard to believe that there are only two more classes left this summer, so sign up today!

As some of you may know, we are a proud member farm of the Claremont Growers Collective. This organization works to connect farmers to each other and local resources, consumers to local farms and producers, and offers free marketing for member farms.

Tomorrow we are hosting a Goat Yoga fundraiser for the CGC here at Dancing Bear Farm so that the wonderful work can continue! Christy Catsos Yoga has generously donated her time to teach the class so that all proceeds will go directly to the CGC.

We still have some spots in the class! What better way to spend your Sunday morning than to hang out with the goats and do gentle yoga (with mountain views!) all while supporting a network of local farmers and producers? Registration link is in the comments, and we hope to see you there!

Top Chef: Chicken Edition. Campers worked in teams to design a dish fit for a chicken using a series of mystery ingredients. The chicken judges approved!

Summer camp has begun! We had a special visitor yesterday - Farmer Ashlynn brought Mango the Holstein for a visit. We got to see a visual demonstration of a cow’s digestive system and learned how they make milk!
