A new face has been hanging around the farm lately 🐦✨

This beautiful Ring-necked Pheasant has been getting more and more comfortable around us. He’s taken a special interest in the quail and can often be found nearby. At this point, he’s starting to feel like one of the flock.

We never know what wildlife we’ll get to share the farm with, but this handsome guy has quickly become one of our favorites. 💛

These babies are handled regularly and raised right here at Sugar Creek Farm with our outdoor colony. Flemish Giants are known for their sweet personalities, calm temperaments, and impressive size.

As things get busier around the farm, we’ll be taking a step back from regular sourdough bread production for a bit.

Don’t worry.. we’ll still be making muffins to order, focaccia, and other baked goods, and sourdough will return when time allows.
