Start checking immediately after Thanksgiving.

🎄 CHRISTMAS
December 26 = GAME ON.

❤️ VALENTINE’S DAY
February 15.

🐰 EASTER
The day after Easter.

🇺🇸 JULY 4TH
Start checking July 5.

🎒 BACK-TO-SCHOOL
Watch for markdowns as your local school-shopping season ends.

Here’s the tradeoff:

EARLY CLEARANCE = better selection.
LATER CLEARANCE = potentially bigger markdowns, but you may be choosing between one broken wreath and 47 packages of napkins. 😂

MY FAVORITE TRICK:

Buy NEXT YEAR’S nonperishables this year.

Wrapping paper.
Gift bags.
Decorations.
Party supplies.
Baskets.
Cards.
Ribbon.

Put it in a labeled tote and DON’T TOUCH IT.

Future you will be VERY impressed. 😂

First rule of glitch shopping:

🤫 MOVE FAST.
😂 Okay, SECOND rule: Don’t count on it until the transaction actually works.

A “glitch” can happen when a coupon, promotion, markdown or system pricing produces an unexpectedly low price.

WHERE DO PEOPLE FIND THEM?

👀 Deal-sharing Facebook groups/pages
📱 TikTok deal accounts
💬 Reddit deal communities
🔥 Slickdeals
🛒 Store apps
🔔 Deal alerts
🕵️ And, of course… DEAL SNITCH.

IMPORTANT:

A posted glitch may be DEAD by the time you see it.

❌ Don’t argue with employees.
❌ Don’t demand that a store honor an obvious error.
❌ Don’t make a 45-minute drive assuming it’ll work.
❌ Don’t buy something you don’t need just because somebody yelled “GLITCH!”

But when everything legitimately stacks and that $40 cart rings up for $9…
