A few updates it’s definitely worth taking a couple minutes to stop to read! If you know me at all, then you know, I love to dive in head first and figure out how to swim later. But I do educate myself to make sure when I do take that dive, I’m going in the deep end and not the shallow pond.
I decided to join Cartily and use that for an online store front. The interface is exceptional and helps all stand and cart owners by placing them on an interactive map. You’ll be able to see in realtime what the stand/cart owner has available (as long as they’re being proactive). Here is the link to the profile and you can download an app right to your phone.

Over the weekend, I heard a comment made about us not having more cookie/sweets options. Honestly, between what I place in there for gluten-free options and Hannah’s sourdough options, there are very delicious cookies available. However, the purpose of The Cottage was not and will not solely be a sweet treat stand. We love having them there, because who doesn’t love a treat every once in a while? The Cottage is meant to be a collective hub for my friends and my family to provide all the farm to table freshness we can through farming, baking, horticulture and much more. We love all the cookie carts out there and have visited many of them! Just don’t want our own visions to be convoluted.
Lastly, starting November 1, we will exclusively be in Rooted Harmony Market as a retail outlet for those who are not able to come to The Cottage. We absolutely love the owners of RHM and as West Bend Farmers Market season comes to a close, we want our regular customers to be able to still find our products, with our understanding that not everyone can make the drive out to the farm.
Oh, The Cottage will be closed 10/22-10/27 while we take a break and reset ourselves. So make your plans to stock up on your needs beforehand.
