WHAT IS AN EQUITY SHARE HUNTING CLUB and WHY? Equity share clubs can be a great alternative to buying your own place. But like everything else, they may not be for everyone.

In most instances, an equity share hunting club consists of shareholders owning an entity (LLC or similar) that owns a sizable tract of land. It can be 2 people or 200. Those shareholders (members) buy-in for an amount and become owners of that entity in which owns the land. We have had them ranging from $115,000 buy-ins to $1,500,000 buy-ins and anywhere from 600+/- acres to 13,000+/- acres in size. The price usually depends on how many shareholders there are owning the entity and how much land that entity owns.
