Today's Farm Store Spotlight is our grass-fed, grass-finished lamb and beef as well as free-range chicken. The lamb and beef is from our farm, pasture born and raised animals. No hormones or chemicals. USDA and AWA certified.

The chicken is from a consignor who raises free range chickens. No GMOs, hormones, or chemicals. All natural.

Today's Farm Store Spotlight is wool pellets. Made from 100% wool, these pellets are an amazing fertilizer. They are a slow releasing nitrogen fertilizer. The wool absorbs water and retains it for less watering required. Mixed into the soil, the pellets will expand when wet to aerate the soil.

Today's Farm Store Spotlight is the skein winding process in the wool mill. Once we have spun and plied the yarn, we will wind it into a skein using this skein winder. The skein is then twisted to be stored on the shelf in our Farm Store!

Our wool mill is available for tours any day we're open.

Today's Farm Store Spotlight is Baby Blessing Bags. Heart of the Shepherd puts together these bags for mothers in need of encouragement. They contain a bible, a note of encouragement, some baby items, and a handmade item as well. We accept donations of new baby items or handmade blankets, hats, etc year-round as well as monetary donations to help with purchasing any items.

These 21 bags will be given to mothers locally through several organizations.

Today's Farm Store Spotlight is our decorative wool dryer balls. Made right here on the farm with wool from our sheep and then decorated with needle felted designs. Make laundry fun! Wool dryer balls are great for making your dryer run more efficently and use them in place of dryer sheets. Add essential oils to them or leave them unscented!

Today's Farm Store Spotlight is our fall display! We have nearly 100 consignors who make things to sell here in our Farm Store. They have started bringing in their fall and pumpkin items! It might still be warm outside, but it is looking like fall inside!

Our Fall Pumpkin Festival begins Sept 22 and runs through Nov 7 but you can come early and shop fall inside any day we're open!

Today's Farm Store Spotlight is our kids weaving loom located in the wool mill. As part of our wool mill tour, we invite children to weave on this large loom, demonstrating how the weaving process works. Fun, hands-on activity to complement the educational tour given.
