I wanted to take a minute to share a really nice tb mare we have been fostering here who is ready to find her own person! She is about 15 years old and 15 hands, good on the ground, cross ties, stands for grooming, lunges well. I would still consider her a bit green under saddle, but nothing unmanageable. She is forward but knows whoa. She can walk on a loose rein and has the smoothest canter in the world. Her trot is still a work in progress. I have ridden her bitless and with a bit. I ride english, but you could probably throw a western saddle on her as well, I just haven't tried. I could see her being a nice hunter, dressage horse or maybe even doing some fun 4h type games. She is blind in the left eye. She is such a good girl, but she will require someone to continue the work we have started with her. Let's find this girl her person!
