We made the trip to State Center Iowa for Rose Fest! We had an okay cook, but knew something was off with ribs..obviously the judges thought so too. Few weeks off to regroup before our next competition. Hers how we did..

Chicken🐔: 17th Place😵‍💫

Pork🐷: 9th Place
Brisket🐮: 3rd Place
Overall: 17th Place🫠

Rose Fest Awards!

We had a great time at Bringn’ Home the Bacon! Laurie Tweten and Keith put in a great contest! We think Mille had a blast getting to tag along with mom and dad! She spent way more time in the pool than out of it! Another short turn around this week before heading to Iowa's Rose Festival.

Here’s how we did for day 2..

Chicken🐔: 17th Place
Ribs🍖: 16th Place
Pork🐷: 34th Place(💩🛏️)
Brisket🐮: 1st Place (🤩)
Overall: 11th Place out of 37 teams!

That’s a wrap on Day 1 at Bring’n Home the Bacon!
Here’s how we did..

Chicken🐔: 22nd Place
Ribs🍖: 27th Place
Pork🐷: 10th Place
Brisket🐮: 1st Place
Overall: 5th Place (tied for 4th Place!) out of 40 teams!

We should also mention that Amelia competed in the KidsQ Friday night and got 13th Place! She ended up making Scotch Eggs. She was overall happy with her results and was excited that every kid that competed got money!
