The owners; Manie and Elmarie Nel, born and raised in South Africa opened the Clarion Locker Butcher shop in 2009. The Clarion Locker is a STATE INSPECTED MEAT FACILITY. In 2018 The Clarion Locker received approval from the STATE OF IOWA to process authentic South African Meats.
We are the only producer in the Midwest licensed to sell South African Meats to date. We are very passionate about what we do and how we do it. We are involved in our Plants daily activities and work hands on in our Plant daily.
We are a small Family owned Business and invite any South Africans looking for a TASTE OF HOME to stop by or go online to order our quality Meats.
