Home and rested up from Smoke In The Springs in Osage City, KS.

Corey and his crew did an amazing job. This is always a well ran contest. We enjoyed hanging out with everyone this weekend.
We had a good cook and liked everything we turned in. Judges didn't like it as much as we did. So I guess we have a little work to do.

We got
46th in chicken
6th in ribs
84 in pork (ouch) maybe alot of work here.
25th in brisket
38th out if 103 teams

Congrats to Blind Fox BBQ on GC and to Slaps BBQ on RGC and to everyone else who heard their names called.




It was nice to come home to this in the mail today.We got a 180 in our dessert at The American Royal.

We went to LaBelle, MO for the 1st annual Show Me BBQ Showdown contest. Andre and his team did a great job. We did a pre run for the Jack and thought our food was good except we didn't like our brisket. The judges did but not so much for our chicken and pork.

24th chicken
2nd ribs with a 180
27th in pork
4th in brisket
5th overall out of 39 teams.

We cooked Trekking for CDH. This was a well ran and put together contest for a great cause. It's great to see how family, friends and a community coming together can help make positive change in the lives of kids.
Thank you Korte Meats, Jay and everyone for all you do for us teams.
It was a hot one but we had a good cook.

18th brisket- deserved.
9th overall.

Home,showered and cooled off from cooking a hot and muggy Smokin on Main in Collinsville, IL. Chris and the team put on a good contest. The only thing I would ask to be different is turn down the thermostat.
We thought we had a good cook and the judges agreed with us.

Decided to cook Cameron Elks BBQ Cool-Off this weekend.
Carl and the crew did a good job and the rain held off.
Also got to hang out with Phil and Rosemary.
We had a good cook and the judges agreed on 2 of the categories 6th ribs and 4th brisket but not so must on the other 2 so we will see how it goes on the next contest.

2nd place ribs Prairie fresh and
25th overall out of 92 teams.
