Peak season is here!!!! So here’s a sneak peak at this beautiful woman who continues to find joy in the simple things like an abundance of ripe blueberries that need to be picked. She’s 91 and out here every day in her favorite bonnet picking berries.

This is the life of a farmer… we pampered the berries all winter and just when they were blooming so beautifully, a late season frost killed about 90% of the seasons berry blossoms. Unfortunately we aren’t opening this year for the you pick season… but we ARE excited to have the time to work on our new gift shop, which will include seasonal produce, berry picking necessities, potted plants and some other blueberry themed items. This will also serve as the new check in/ check out location … we anticipate reopening the farm and new gift shop in May-August of 2022.

We are officially OPEN for U-Pick on Friday, Saturday and Sunday's from 10-3pm and until the season ends.

$12 per gallon = you pick
$16 per gallon = we pick and you pick them up
$20 per gallon = we pick and deliver them to you fresh once a week (within a 40 mile radius of 30523).

We have this random cow who likes to visit the blueberry farm. Not sure who owns it, but its visits are always a fun surprise to see.

As a new harvest season approaches we are looking for a new name to rebrand the blueberry orchard and legally register it with the state. As many of you know, my momma loves owls....and so she would like to incorporate something about owls into the name... an example would be something like "Whoooo's Blueberries" ....
Please drop your suggestions below and if we pick your name choice, you will receive blueberry credits for this harvest season.

Spring is such a beautiful thing to experience here in Clarkesville. The baby chicks have moved into a bigger cage in the garage until they are old enough to go into the coop. The irises are giant and these snapdragons are loving this soil. As for the blueberries, they are blooming wonderfully after that heavy pruning we did a few months ago...so while this summers crop may be smaller, we anticipate much more juicy berries this year. The harvest season is right around the corner and we cant wait to eat more of those fresh beautiful berries!!
