A bittersweet moment for sure…I’d love to be celebrating Keep Well’s 4 year anniversary this weekend however I am instead announcing the official close of Keep Well.

While I have been grappling with the closing date, this past weekend solidified my final decision. Three months have passed since the amazing Summer Equinox celebration which also marks the last time I was able to pay a personal bill. The Autumn Equinox this past weekend was less than stellar for Keep Well with just six customers.

Between the ever fluctuating cost and quality of produce, the increase on utilities, the constant assessment of menu pricing and my level of pure exhaustion from working 7 days/week and not feeling my best for well over a year, I have no choice but to permanently close the doors.

I believe I have been walking in my purpose however I am out of alignment. It’s rather hypocritical to preach a healthy lifestyle yet I haven’t been able to make mine a priority due to a lack of resources. That must change. As a single mom with little to no help, I need to ensure my presence and availability to my daughter.
Miss Annabella deserves a huge thank you for being supportive and patient with me especially when, upon moving to CS we realized her allergies wouldn’t allow her to even hang with me while the shop was either opened or closed for business. She is a trooper 💚

I fulfilled my intention of bringing a dose of healthy options (specifically cold pressed juice) and I never derided from that plan. I opened many folks eyes to our programming regarding SAD: Standard American Diet and changed quite a few opinions and lifestyles. I’ve provided flavor combos that really made people smile mostly in disbelief that natural, plant based can be so satisfying and delicious. I’ve assisted dozens of customers on their healing journeys. For that, I’m proud.

Had to bring back the classic, Earth!
I wasn’t a huge pear fan growing up but once I mixed this combo of produce I knew I had a winner and I would forever adore the hearty buttery yet sweet flavor of pears. I think every juicer should keep this in his/her repertoire especially at this time of year in NEPA.

Today, Thursday, Keep Well will have a delayed opening however we will be opened until 6!

With the exception of the 3 OGs (Earth, Moon and Sun), every juice has been formulated with the intent to help your mind&body. I’ve never claimed to “treat” anything however over these past nearly 4 years there are dozens of customers that can plainly say the juices have provided them with missing vital nutrients and vitamins and given them a boost. From fatty liver, kidney stones, digestive issues, low iron to pre&post chemo- there’s been quite the mix of flavors and colors.

Regulate, included on this menu, was crafted for someone dealing with thyroid issues in which they required boosted iodine levels. The Amethyst juice I made for those of us that deal with gut issues, specifically colitis. There’s a taste and purpose for everyone!

Keep Well’s hours are:
⚡️ Thursday 10:30-5:30
⚡️ Friday 9-2
⚡️ Saturday 9-2
