The weather hasn't been kind this past spring and early summer with lots of rain, grey skies, and cold temps. However, Mother Nature has cracked open the door, allowing for us to plant some strawberries for the 2026 season. We may be over a month behind getting the plants in the ground. However, with a little help from the 🌞 and some warm temperatures, we are hopeful we can right the ship and get back on track. Not the 4th of July weekend we envisioned, but farming never goes as planned.

📣 Strawberry Season Comes to a Close Tonight 🍓

Our U-Pick strawberry season will officially end tonight at 7 p.m. 🌅 We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our wonderful customers who visited the farm this season. Although it was a shorter season due to unfavorable weather this spring and early summer, we worked hard to ensure you could still enjoy a memorable experience.

We truly appreciate your support and can’t wait to see you all again next summer! 🌞

And don’t forget—Pallman Farms is your destination for fresh turkeys and capons for the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. 🦃 If you’ve never had one of our fresh, farm-raised birds, you’re missing out on something special! We’ll begin taking orders in early September.

Due to severe storms in the area, we have closed for the rest of the day.

Tomorrow, Monday June 23, will be the last day of the season. We will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

As for pre-picked quart strawberries, we will wait until tomorrow morning to determine if we will have them on the table to sell. If you are looking to pick up some already picked strawberries on Monday, we suggest calling the store before stopping. Phone 570-587-3258, press 1 to speak to a sales associate.

This season has been a difficult one. From dealing with cold temps and rain in April, additional rain, cold temps and Grey skies throughout May and into June, the strawberry plants have had to fight to produce berries from day 1. Our goal at Pallman Farms is to make sure that everyone who visits our farm has a good experience and leaves here happy and wanting to come back. Hopefully, we have achieved this goal even during one of the hardest weather patterns we have faced in many, many years.

We look forward to seeing smiling faces tomorrow on our last day open. Stay dry and happy picking!!

*U-PICK Strawberry update*

Good morning from Pallman Farms! We are open for Strawberry picking until 6 p.m. today. The season is rapidly approaching the end. Today may be our last day open for the season. We will make a decison sometime early afternoon. It will all depend on how busy we are today.

If you are looking to visit the farm, take a wagon ride, and pick some strawberries, today is the day. As for pre-picked strawberries, we will have a limited amount of quarts available to purchase at the farm. If you want to confirm availability, call 570-587-3258, press 1, to speak to a sales specialist.

Good morning all! So the weather forecast for today looks ok for picking! Light rain possible this morning but as we get closer to noon, the rain should be out of here. Wagons start rolling to the fields at 8 a.m. with the last wagon heading out around 5:30. So bring Dad out to the farm today to pick some berries for Father's Day! Happy picking!

Unfortunately, Mother Nature has once again decided to rain. The forecast for today does not look promising, so we have made the difficult decision to remain closed for today. As of now, we are planning on opening for Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15. Although it does appear that we may get some showers, Sunday doesn't look like an all-day rain. Check back tonight or early Sunday morning for our final decision on Sunday opening. Stay dry and we hope to see you all on the farm soon. Think 🌞!! We DO NOT need any more rain ugh...
