🍎So happy to use our organic apples from the orchard to make Apple Crumble for our family, which is better than apple pie if you asked me! My friend gave me this recipe last week and it was so so good! If you’d like the recipe, let us know!

🍎The leftover peels and cores are never wasted. We use them to made homemade apple c***r vinegar! Apple c***r vinegar is such an important addition to our diet because it provides research-backed health benefits largely driven by acetic acid, antioxidants, and raw probiotics also known as “the mother”. If you’d like the recipe, let us know😁

We started this lifestyle because of our own health concerns and auto immune disease. We are a work in progress and like to share some things we strive to do! Our animals even get the vinegar in their water❤️

🍎Apple C***r vinegar BENEFITS include:

✨Blood Sugar Regulation: May lower fasting blood glucose and post-meal blood sugar spikes by improving insulin sensitivity.
✨Weight Management: Can support modest reductions in body weight, body mass index (BMI), and visceral fat.
✨Cholesterol & Heart Health: May help lower total cholesterol, triglycerides, and boost high-density lipoprotein (HDL) or "good" cholesterol.
✨Gut Health & Antimicrobial Effects: Contains prebiotics, live cultures, and organic acids that exhibit lab-tested antibacterial properties against some pathogens like Salmonella and E. coli.

Some days we can’t wait to get outside, and some days these guys are the reason we do. 🐓🐖🦃🐄

No matter what kind of day we are having, being out here with them has a way of putting everything back into perspective. There’s something about watching them in our own backyard that reminds us just how much there is to be grateful for.

What’s something that can instantly make a hard day feel a little better for you?

Mr. Fancypants had a photoshoot yesterday because he deserves it! He’s starting to come closer to us if we just sit with him.

Even the chickens ventured up the hill to see this hottie with the sexy body!!😍💪 and he strutted for them too!

We’ve been getting calls asking for turkey eggs, but we’re sorry to say we don’t have any. This one hen will probably not lay until next spring and turkeys typically lay only 50 eggs a year.

This past week, we’ve been trying to capture on camera our resident blue Heron who seems to be hunting in the Orchard & other grassy areas when he’s not hunting the pond. Do we know what they eat besides fish? Frogs? Salamanders?

The chickens don’t seem to mind sharing the space with this funny looking friend!
