This weekend looks like a lot of rain, so the stand will be open on FRIDAY September 30! I will post any availability for the weekend, and bouquets can be reserved and picked up from the porch. This is the final weekend for fresh flowers!

Harvesting everything I can get for the sunflower festival at ! The event is from 12-5, and there is an admission fee which includes access to the sunflower fields. The weather is supposed to be gorgeous. (This means the flower stand will NOT be open this Saturday). Hope to see you there!

Bright and cheerful flowers out on the stand this morning! There's also one bunch of all sunflowers. It's going to be a hot one, so I may have to pull these back inside earlier than usual - come early if you can!

Zinnias were my first flower love and the perfect gateway flower. They are easy to start from seed and keep blooming as long as you keep cutting. I'm still working out my favorite varieties (the white "polar bear" are bug magnets) but the bernary's giant are always a good place to start. I also love the cactus and queen series.

Stand hours update: I don't have many (or any) customers on Wednesdays, so I am changing the regular days to Saturdays and Sundays. You can always message me to pick up flowers during the week; flowers don't take days off!

I'm a huge fan of gladiolus even though they can be huge. If you pull off the spent blooms as they finish from the bottom up, they will last for a week or more.
