I had too many potatoes.

That somehow turned into creamy gold potato & green onion soup with red onion, garlic, a little cheese, and everything dressing on top.

There was supposed to be kale involved, but I had an incident. We don't need to talk about it. 😂🥬

Anyway... the soup is delicious, the potatoes are slightly less plentiful, and curly kale is no longer welcome in this house. 💀

10/10 soup. 0/10 kale experience.

Apparently homemade Oreos with toasted marshmallow filling were on the schedule today. Who knew? 😂

Deep, dark chocolate cookies sandwiched around a fluffy toasted marshmallow filling and honestly… these had absolutely no business turning out this good on the first try. 🖤☁️

Sometimes kitchen experiments work out very well. 🫐✨

Blueberry Brown Sugar Buttermilk Biscuits — buttery, flaky layers filled with fresh blueberries, brown sugar, vanilla bean, and just a hint of cinnamon.

For my midday snack, I tore one up and drowned it in vanilla bean milk and... oh my goodness. 🤤

I’m going to try to save some for RJ when he gets home later this week, but absolutely no promises. 😂

Kitchen experimenting is hard work, guys. Someone has to eat the evidence. ✨

On today’s episode of the Kitchen Pixie raids the fridge and somehow ends up with a fancy little lunch. 😂✨

Creamy gold potatoes swirled with leftover everything bagel dressing — a creamy, tangy mix loaded with sesame, poppy seed, garlic & onion goodness — topped with soft scrambled eggs cooked in anchovy butter, smoky Fishwife rainbow trout brightened with fresh lemon, thinly sliced green onion, lemon zest, cracked black pepper & one last drizzle of that everything dressing.

Just a handful of leftovers, a little kitchen tinkering, and suddenly my lunch is feeling suspiciously restaurant-worthy. 🥔🍳🐟🍋✨

✨ A little Saturday night fun calls for a little Sunday morning recovery… ✨

RJ is out with the boys tonight, so naturally we started thinking about what tomorrow morning might require. 😂

And apparently the answer is gravy. Lots of gravy.

☁️ Tomorrow’s Pixified Sunday Special: LOADED BISCUITS & GRAVY ☁️

We’re starting with a fresh corn + cheddar cornbread biscuit, then loading it up with black pepper sausage gravy, sausage, crispy bacon, and a fried egg. 🤤

And since it’s going to be a hot summer Sunday, we’re balancing all that breakfast goodness with a cool, creamy Everything Bagel Cucumber Salad on the side. 🥒

And for a little something sweet… Blackberry Lemon Cloud Buns are floating onto the menu tomorrow, too! ☁️🍋 Made with our soft house-made milk buns, vanilla bean pastry cream, and that gorgeous blackberry-tarragon sauce.

Perfect for Saturday-night survivors, Sunday brunch people, or anyone who simply believes biscuits should be used as a vehicle for an unreasonable amount of gravy. 😂

It's already turning into one of those days where you should probably just crawl back into bed and be done with it, but as I'm heading into the busy fall and holiday season...that's just not an option. So, a really great coffee it is!

Today I made a delicious white chocolate cappuccino because I love the extra foamy goodness, and topped it with the rest of my cookie butter marshmallow samples. 😆 Yum!!

Now, I'm going to sit here and enjoy this warm cozy treat, before diving into the crazy day ahead. Happy Friday!!
