Camp Cove has been a favorite of mine for a while, but I only just enjoyed their Cove Burger for the first time. It definitely lived up to the hype and left me wondering why I hadn’t ordered it earlier (the answer is because all their food options are delish). I paired this with their Honeycomb Cold Brew and it was a perfect lunch.

We were lucky enough to be invited to Midtown Love and we truly loved hearing about all the cool things happening in Midtown, and celebrating the artists and businesses that make the area one of our favorites to explore.

They always do such a great job planning the event and it’s amazing to see so many people from different aspects of our city come together.

It may have been love at first bite at Husick’s. I stopped I. With friends for my first visit and immediately fell in love with this cute spot, the amazing food, and the chill vibes. It’s a beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and while it’s not pretentious at all, the food quality is amazing. It was so good I’ve stopped by two weeks in a row, one for dine in and one for take out. Current favorites for me are the pizza and the muffuletta sandwich. But I’ll be back to work my way through the menu.

Every dish Good Neighbor posts on IG looks so good! I finally had the chance to stop in while a coworker was visiting and got to snap a few photos of my own. I opted for the burger and my coworker chose their hanger steak salad, plus we shared the English pea arancini. It’s a cute spot and we both ended up leaving with leftovers.

My “quick” video was too long for stories so you get a Reel! It’s no secret that I’m a regular at Sweet Oven Bakery and that I love the Toasted Coconut coffee so much that I regularly order two drinks- my regular and something new to try. Well, the Saigon Honeycomb Drink was the new one today and it was so good! The drink was strong, just like I like it and the honeycomb was a fun addition. I tried some of the pieces from the top and they were light and fluffy, just like my favorite honeycomb candy.

I also had to pick up some of their Spring macarons, the bunny, chick and egg were too cute!

I’m always searching for great Italian sandwiches and had the chance to try the Italian Hero from Taylor’s Market. It was an impressive stacked sandwich with prosciutto, mortadella, salami, roasted red pepper, provolone, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, pepperoncini, mayo and mustard. I loved the combination of ingredients and I’m always happy when roasted red peppers are available as a topping.

If you have the chance to try Belly Barbecue, take it! They’re only open Friday-Sunday but that’s because great bbq takes time. With a line out the door even before they open, the local community knows it’s worth the wait. Some of our favorites are the brisket, sausages, beef rib, pork ribs, grits, and Brunswick stew- but everything on the menu is delicious!

I’ve been hearing great things about Roku Japanese Cuisine and finally had the chance to try it out. I opted for take out and ordered online for pick up. They had my order ready to go when I arrived and as soon as I got home I had to take some photos before digging in. Everything was fresh and delicious and the Sashimi Roll was the star of the show, well worth the higher price tag.

We have had this spot bookmarked on for a while and finally had the chance to stop in! They have Buffalo, NY style chicken wings, cheesesteaks, burgers, sandwiches, and even fish and chips on the menu. We ordered the Buffalo wings, a regular cheesesteak, and their Italian Salami cold sub. Everything was great, even after the drive home with traffic. They packed everything with care. The cheesesteak was the stand out and we’re excited to go back to try more from the menu.
