Look closely and you'll see my sweet flower farm dog, Teddy. When I started the flower farm more than 10 years ago he was a young pup always by my side, walking the long rows with me, mustering out rabbits, exploring here and there. Now he's 14, moves a bit slowly, and stays inside mostly. I was foraging through this garden by my garage today cutting echinacea deep into the base of the plants when I stumbled across him, keeping cool. Clever boy.❤ I hope I can age as gracefully as he has!

Not your everyday grocery store bouquet! When I started the flower farm 10 years ago a key factor that motivated me was to provide beautiful one-of-a- kind fresh bouquets at grocery stores and farm stores. Being an avid flower lover and gardener for 25 years, I was always frustrated that it was hard to find anything but skimpy, boring, formula, imported bouquets. I vowed to change that, and love how much our customers appreciate it! Pick up one of these premium beauties or (both stores). Sunshine for a rainy week!

It's been so long since I've posted anything (I''m glad people have noticed, thanks!) The tsunami of Spring hit so hard, and the strange weather patterns meant everything burst into bloom all at once. First 5000 tulips, then ranunculus, then all the hardy annuals (snaps, larks, agrostemma, etc.). Flower farming can be such a relentless marathon sometimes. We could hardly keep up with planting, cutting, processing, delivering, and succession seeding! Now taking a bit of a breather to show you some of the beautiful things we've been making over the last 6 weeks. Thanks to my great team, and to all our loyal clients!

I wish a photograph could capture how fabulous these bouquets smell. I keep hearing back from CSA/subscribers and customers at that they just fill up a room with a wonderful scent. Especially the daffodils-- the Queen of Spring!

It was so nice to host this small and oh-so-fun, socially distanced, "Covid pod" at the farm for a workshop they requested. (Truly, we were masked and distanced until a brief break for the photo.) 😊 We used grapevine wreaths with lavender, pussywillow, and other dried flowers, and everyone made their unique, everlasting masterpiece. Great fun! Contact me if you'd like to schedule a private workshop with your own group, at a date and time of your choice. OR check our website to register for our Spring workshops--coming up soon.
