I would like to introduce you to our resident Dr. Doolittle. Andrea came to us in the fall and has been loving on our animals 3 days a week all through the winter. What an unbelievable blessing she is to me in the afternoons. She checks for eggs, fills water troughs, brushes all of our animals, and obviously, they all love her! AMAZING ANDREA ❤️ ❤️

These two guys....
Meet Trevor and Joel. These 2
young men have kept our farm running all winter. Trev has been with us since almost the very beginning. His 1st winter out here was through a polar vortex and he STAYED because he has a passion for people and animals. His heart is so big and kind. He is a wonderful ambassador for our mission at the farm - creating a safe space for everyone who visits, and partnering with our friends to help them find their own plan and purpose.
Joel started working this winter and is looking forward to the spring when he can help us with all of our garden plans, workshops and beekeeping! He is an extremely hard worker, and is a lover of knowledge.
How blessed are we?!?!? So much gratitude here from this very proud farm girl!

We had lots going on in the kitchen today! Today, we worked on perfecting our Fed Bread Muffins and they were pretty close to perfect! We also are learning all about eggs and what makes the perfect sellable egg! We are working to take our egg production to the next level and becoming egg-sperts in this field ;) It was an AMAZING Thursday at Clarkston United Methodist Church!

You can freeze any type of egg by scrambling a single egg and placing it in an ice cube tray - wait 24 hours and put the frozen egg in a freezer bag to be kept for a year. When you are ready to use, place the frozen eggs in an air- tight container in the refrigerator the day before. EASY!
