Well..... They made it through the night. They went from being little fighters, to fading in a matter of 30 mins. I wondered what morning would look like for a couple of them.Touch and go feedings every hour. Dropping milk in 2 of the kittens mouths because they were just too tired and weak to suck. Here we are at 1 pm the next day and their little suckles are getting stronger and a little longer with every feeding. I'll keep up every hour feedings for now.
I would really love if someone who is good with neonatal kittens could take even two of them....
I cannot keep these babies so I'm going to be looking for their forever homes over the next few weeks. If you'd like a kitten that's been bottle fed, raised and loved here at Wild Daisy Homestead, please throw your name in our hat..... TIA.

Do Sheep Really Know Their Shepherd's Voice? (Watch This!)
Ever wonder if your animals actually know who you are by sound alone? In this short video, watch my woolly sheep come running across the pasture the exact second they hear my voice calling them to a new grazing spot.
Sheep possess an incredible capacity for vocal recognition and a deep love for predictable routines and familiar territory. Ultimately, gentle farming and remaining with their familial flock who they've formed bonds with creates happy, healthy sheep that give healthy products to us.

It started as a little spot, and I foolishly waited six months before realizing it could be something serious.
It was. It got serious enough that if I hadn't had this piece removed now, I could have lost my entire lip.
Please don't wait to get skin checks. Catching things early matters.
Please follow along to see what if anything my Blitz Arnica and Comfrey Salve can do to help with the redness, scarring, swelling, bruising, pain and speed of healing. ... Doctor gave permission to start using Blitz on day 3...
