SoulSprout Farm Retreat Grow. Learn. Heal. First off, thanks for checking out SoulSprout Farm Retreat. Her education is in theology, ministry and business.

We're a small, sustainable permaculture family farm with a mobile food and beverage service. We purchased our home in March 2025 looking for a life that takes us off the screens and outside. Our page is a place to let the public know what we're up to, and how to purchase our products, book our food/beverage service and also celebrate our milestones. Judithann, the single-mom Farm Manager, Founder and CEO at SoulSprout, is a transplant to Clarkston, MI having lived in Nebraska, Minnesota, and Illinois, as well as a wealth of international experiences. Everywhere Judi has lived, she planted a garden and learned from those who practiced sustainable food cultivation. She is a former pastor and homeschool mom, functional food enthusiast and entrepreneur who took the opportunity to start a new business and life with an old friend from her days in Hyde Park at the University of Chicago. The long-term vision of SoulSprout Farm Retreat is to cultivate a space for healing,
conversation, growth and learning that we will share with our community. We will host small workshops, retreats and experiences, and have a virtual Farmer's Market and inperson food stand. For now, we are scooping the p**p, repairing the outbuildings, getting to know our land and animals, and planting the Seeds with Faith - knowing they will grow. SoulSprout Farm Retreat is the home of The Whimsical Sip and Charcuterie, a mobile food and beverage service specializing in fun, functional food and booze-free adaptogenic cocktails. SoulSprout Farm’s mobile cafe will be at The Rabbit Hole in Waterford September 26. Come say hello and give some love to all the fabulous vendors!

Our favorite little place to vend is The Rabbit Hole in Waterford. Come see us in September for our selection of adaptogen-infused artisan chocolates, mini-cakes and fresh bagels both made with home-rendered grass fed beef tallow.

We’ll have some homemade ice cream treats and our fabulous selection of booze free craft cocktails infused with botanicals and adaptogens, nitro coffee, ginseng infused matcha and probiotic marshmallow cream sodas.

There’s more growing at SoulSprout than what you can see from the road. 🌱

Indigo Cruz is part of the heart behind this place—the work of spiritual formation, honest storytelling, healing, and creating room for people to grow.

And now some of that work has made its way into print.

Vagabond Soul is Book One of the Trauma-Informed Grace Trilogy, published through IndigoWords Publishing.

It’s a story about wandering, wounds, faith, grace—and what happens when we stop pretending the hard parts of our stories didn’t happen.

SoulSprout gives this work a place to put down roots. And now, we’re opening that space to Others.

🌿 Our first Haven Community gathering is Sunday, August 23 at 3:30 PM at SoulSprout Farm Retreat.

If you’ve been looking for a place to belong, ask questions, share a meal, explore faith, or simply show up as you are—you’re welcome at the table.
(RSVP greatly appreciated)

What’s your favorite was to use beef tallow?

We’re rendering, purifying and infusing for cooking, baking and cosmetic purposes - and we want to know what tallow products you’d like to see from SoulSprout Farm.
