Create Your Own Herbal Tea Blends This Saturday!

Have you ever wanted to make your own herbal teas but weren’t sure where to start? Join us this Saturday, June 6 at 2:00 PM at Onederings Lavender Farm for our Herbal Tea Workshop! You’ll learn the entire process from harvesting and drying herbs to blending and brewing your own custom tea combinations.

During this hands-on workshop, you’ll create and take home an herbal tea-making kit that will allow you to prepare up to 20 different herbal tea blends at home.

Raspberry Pastry & Tea for 2

This Friday and Saturday, June 5 and June 6 we offer our raspberry themed Pastry & Tea for 2. This includes 2 raspberry scones, 2 lemon bars with raspberries, 2 raspberry crisps and a pot of herbal tea. The cost is $30. There are two seatings. On Friday the seatings are 11 and 1 and on Saturday the seatings are 10 and 12. You can order tickets at https://onederings.com/pages/events-calendar or call 937 725 0830.

Our lavender is in bloom and available for picking. Our general hours are Wednesday-Friday 11-5 and Saturday 10-4.

Our Lavandula Angustifolia or English lavender is blooming. We have small starter plants of our favorite varieties of lavender available for sale as well as some particularly clean tasting peppermint plants. We have Riverina Thomas (Intermedia or French lavender), Buena Vista, Folgate and Sharon Roberts (Angustifolia or Engish). They are $10

Onederings Lavender Farm, 2195 S Clarksville Road , Clarksville Ohio and we are open Wednesday-Friday from 11 to 5 and on Saturday 10-4. Our lavender is now blooming and is open for u-pick. Our shop is open and we have lavender lemonade and lavender rosemary shortbread cookies for sale.

We also have a small supply of Lavandula Intermedia Riverina Thomas for sale. You can not find this variety at the nurseries anywhere in the local area. It is available for $10 but we only have 15. This is the "French Lavender" that I have said is fabulous in my talks. It is full and deeper purple and dries a deeper blue then any of the other intermedias we have had experience with. In a few weeks we should have several other varieties which you cannot find around here.

Also this Friday and Saturday we offer strawberry pastry & tea for 2. This has 2 scones, 2 petit fours, and 2 fresh strawberry pies. the cost is $30 ( this is for 2 of all three pastries) and herbal tea. Go to our website to register for this ( https://onederings.com/pages/events-calendar).

Additionally this is the last week that chamomile will be available for picking. It is $3 for a gallon of camomile. This is a great introductory offer and it makes over 100 camomile tea bags. '

Please NOTE; The road from Sligo to our farm will be closed for 2 weeks starting on June 3. You have to come either from Creek road or from the Clarksville side .

We are in Clarksville, Ohio and opened this week on Friday from 11-4 and Saturday from 10-4 (May 15, & 16) The chamomile is the best you will ever had. Dried indoors and used in tea it will really help you sleep. You can pick a gallon of it for $3.

Here is one more piece of info. A gallon of chamomile dries down to about 4 oz (107 gms) of dried chamomile. You use at most a teaspoon of pure chamomile which is about. .02 oz or .6 gms. This will make 150-175 cups of tea. And this chamomile is very potent. It is not like what you buy in store. I would not recommend taking it if you are working machinery. I usually just put in 1/3 to 1/2 teaspoon if I am using this during the day
