We hosted our 5th official opening day dove hunt this past Monday and it was a blast!

We had great weather, great hunters, and a lot of birds which made for a great time. The fact that over half of our hunters this year have hunted with us before, some even every year, means the world to us. We loved seeing all of the familiar faces and we loved meeting so many new people too!

What truly makes this day so special for me is not just a successful hunt for all the hunters, but seeing my whole family come together to put this event on. From planting flowers and mowing grass, to holding and entertaining babies, to making food, and everything else you can possibly think of…it wouldn’t be possible to do this without them and me and Sean are just so
thankful for them. Dove season falls at a very busy time of year and to see everyone so selflessly give their time and energy to help us and be there for us is just amazing. We love you guys!

We are already excited for next year! 🌻🐦

2 more sleeps until opening day! A few details for you for Monday’s Dove Hunt:

-Morning hunt: Arrive at 5:00 am.
-Afternoon hunt: Arrive around 12:30 pm.
-Follow the directional signs.
-Once parked, head to check-in to let us know you’re here and sign your liability waiver. You will receive your hunting station number then also.
**Please arrive with who you plan to hunt with and stand in line/check-in together. **
-Recommend bringing your Valid NC Hunting License.
-Transporation will be provided to each station.
-Legal shooting light for Monday morning is 6:17 am.
-There will be a bucket at each station with the station number. Please use that bucket for any shells and trash. Leave the bucket at your site when you’re done.
-Lunch will be available starting at 9:30 am.
-Morning hunt ends at 11:00 am. (You are welcome to hang out as long as you please.)
-Afternoon hunt starts at 1:00 pm (Feel free to grab your lunch and take it to your station or take your time eating and head to your station at whatever time you please.)
-Afternoon hunt will end at 7:30 pm.
-If you reach your limit and/or are ready to go, feel free to text or call Sean at 706-410-7946 and we will have someone come pick you up.
