Dear valued customer,
The Farmers Market Season is now upon us. The first market of this season will be Sunday, May 17th, 2026 at Roscoe. The usual hours are between 10 AM until 2 PM. We look forward to seeing everyone again. This season is looking very promising for poultry production. Our Turkeys have been out on pasture and growing rapidly. Our White Turkeys, the ones used for summer grilling are looking like they should be ready by the mid to late June. Perfect time for grilling Turkey Chops, Steaks and Wingettes. Our Thanksgiving Turkeys, the Artisan Gold Turkeys are growing at a much slower rate. They are now working on developing that deep full flavor we love during the holiday. They should be ready by October. We have Kosher King Chickens and Freedom Ranger Chickens on pasture as well. They are growing well but just a little slower due to this prolonged colder night time weather. The Kosher Kings, we are hoping will be nice roaster size, by the time the second market approaches. If you missed the flavor of fresh chicken throughout the long winter, these early chickens can cure your craving. Since our chickens will not be ready for the first market, we will have a special, for the first market only, Buy 2 Dozen Eggs, and get a third dozen free. The Kosher King Chickens should be large enough for the Memorial Day Sunday Market. As we all know prices are spiraling out of control lately, but we stated earlier that we are not raising our poultry prices this year to meet the inflation. We hope that we will be doing our part to keep our products affordable.

Please ask us about our new product of Farm Consulting. Especially, if you are interested in raising meat birds or egg layers for yourself. We can assist you with your homestead endeavour, and guide you past all of the pitfalls usually encountered by first time homesteaders. We will come to your property and assess what is needed to raise your own fresh poultry.

The lambs are now eating grass and are almost weaned from their mommy's milk. Our lambs are docile and will make great starters for your homestead herd. The meat quality is excellent. We sell live sheep only.

Since we do not use antibiotics, or any medications for our poultry, maintaining their organic quality, we created a herbal nutritional supplement that aids with the health of our poultry. We will have that available for sale in the upcoming markets, so that you can provide your personal flock the same quality supplement. Just adding a few drops to your chicken's water supply is all that is needed.

Thank you so much for being our customer. We hope this year's Farmers Markets will be just as good as last year's. Maybe even better. We will see you there.

Wishing all of our customers, friends and family, a healthy, prosporous, and happy New Year. We cannot wait to thaw out. This winter, is a nice cold and snowy winter. The animals are hunkering down, and waiting for spring.
There are a few changes coming to the farm for the 2026 season. We will not be raising any ducks for the season. We want to focus on our chickens and turkeys. We have increased the number of Turkeys we are raising. This will make more Turkeys available for this Thanksgiving. As we all know, prices keep going up everywhere. That also effects what we do at the farm. We decided that we can keep our prices the same as last year, instead of increasing them to meet the new demand. Hopefully this helps keep our quality products available and affordable to our customers.
This year we are going to expand into a new addition to our farming operation. We will be adding on site Farm Consulting as another one of our services. Our intention is to offer our services to help first time homesteaders, and recreational farmers, set up poultry farming on their properties. We will help consultees avoid our mistakes, and learn right from the begining how to raise poultry for eggs or meat. We are setting up that system now and will make a formal anouncement once the Consultation service is up and running.
We can't wait for many more to experience the joy and satisfaction that we gain from our farm.
