A little reminder: 100% of the fresh produce on this list is sourced from local farmers within 100 miles of Clatskanie, and most of it comes from much closer than that.

When you shop at the Food Hub, 80% of your dollar goes right back to the farmers. Buying directly from local farms strengthens their businesses, gives them more consistency to plan around, and helps build a more dependable local food supply.

It also means your food isn’t traveling halfway across the country to get here.

The Clatskanie Food Hub will be closed on Sunday, August 30 for our annual Farm to Table Dinner fundraiser.

We will also not be serving brunch Aug 29-30 while our team prepares for the dinner.

Thank you for understanding, and thank you for supporting the work that makes these community meals and local food gatherings possible!

Come dance at the Quince Grange!

Join us Sunday, September 13 from 4:30–7 PM for an old-fashioned community contra dance and fundraiser for the Quince Grange, with live music by Skamokawa Swamp Opera and Dave Ambrose calling the dances.

Never contra danced before? Perfect. Contra is a traditional form of community folk dancing where a caller walks everyone through the dances and calls the steps as the music plays. No experience or dance partner needed.

Come at 4:30 PM for a brief beginner lesson with Dave where we’ll learn the basic moves and practice some of the called dances before the dancing gets underway.

We’ll also have locally grown popcorn, honey sodas, and baked goods available for purchase throughout the evening.

Suggested donation: $5–$15
Proceeds support the Quince Grange.

Bring your friends, your family, your neighbors, or just yourself. Come learn the steps, listen to live music, eat some local treats, and spend a late summer evening dancing together at the Grange.

All ages and beginners welcome!

🧄 From Field to Festival!
Ever wonder where all this garlic starts?
Back in late June we visited Steven Routon during harvest for a look at the work that happens long before those beautiful cured bulbs hit the Clatskanie Garlic Festival. 🌱
Follow along with Steve and Darro as they pull garlic right here in Clatskanie, talk through the crop, and show us one of the farms that helped grow our little festival into what it is today. 🚜
Then come meet the growers, taste the varieties, and stock up! ✨

Garlic braiding at Garlic Fest!

Join Farmer Kelly of Kelly & Patrick for a hands-on garlic braiding workshop during the Clatskanie Garlic Festival.

You’ll create your own decorative garlic braid while learning about growing, harvesting, curing, and preserving garlic. All tools, flowers, and garlic are included, and you’ll leave with a garlic braid so beautiful you may not want to eat it.

But you’ll also leave with the skills to make more.

Class size is limited so Kelly can provide hands-on instruction, and pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
