We are totally lucky to have nice weather every weekend! A bit too warm for this time of the year, but people are happy in the field! We still have plenty of Cortland, Empire, Idared, Macoun, Red and Golden Delicious, Northern Spy apples, and Bosc, D'Anjou, and Harrow Sweet pears. Some peras are really ripe and ready to eat when you pick!

We are now the 5th weekend and in the middle of the harvest! We have opened Northern Spy and Rome Beauty apples this weekend, the last variety to open among what we offer. Northern Spy is very popular among the pie making moms and dads! And we have plenty of Ida Reds, Empire, Macoun, Spartan, Golden and Red Delicious, and Cortland apples. Great weather still, and you see the color of leaves turning. Come to appreciate the nature!

Another gorgeous weekend. Warm, sunny, dry, sometimes chilly. We had so many happy people in the orchards.
We are now picking Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Ida Reds, Jonathan and Mutsu apples. But we still have many McIntosh, Macoun, Spartan, Cortland, and Empire apples.
It is nice to know that quite a few customers are fans of some particular apples and come here to pick those apples. We were sorry that apples are smallish this year due to drought, but many of them didn't mind!

Do you like pears? We are so happy to be able to offer them this year. There is much of Harrow Sweet, D'Anjou, and Bosc ...

Do you like pears? We are so happy to be able to offer them this year. There is much of Harrow Sweet, D'Anjou, and Bosc pears on the trees and they are so juicy!
In addition, we started picking Gala, Macoun, Greening apples this weekend. Plus we have plenty of Empire, Cortland, Spartan, Jonamac and McIntosh apples.

Overcast this weekend. But the rain was exactly what the fruit needed-- they will get bigger!

This weekend we started picking McIntosh, Empire, Cortland and Spartan apples. They are still a bit young, but it is promising: Crisp, juicy, tangy, sweet, tart. And really full of flavor. Each apple is showing off its beauty. You have to come pick!

Thank you for your patience! Finally we have sent out our new flyer to our customers on the list!
We will open the orchards coming Friday (8/29) with Jonamac apples and Bartlette pears!
