We did updated ultrasounds on Astrid, Star, and Silver. I will grab updated ultrasounds of Pyxis and Goldie. Astrid and silver looks like possiblity of many kids in there while star is looking like one or two. In 10 days I'll scan star again and if it's a single I will have to abort her and rebreed her. I allowed her to keep a single for this kidding and even with monitoring her grain intake and inducing her early her buckling was huge over 6lbs so we won't be doing that again. I hope it's 2 in there.

ADGA/AGS/MDGA registered doe in milk. She is milking once a day right now, soon to dry off. Confirmed bred on ultrasound to kid just after Christmas. This doe has beautiful hand milking teats and a nice blended foreudder never developing a shelf or a pocket. She's a very sweet doe and shows well. She was bred by Old Mountain Farm Wise Guy so blue eyes and moonspots are highly possible. Silver is moonspotted with blue eyes. Wise Guy put some super heavy moonspotted kids on the ground this year so if lots of flash is your thing this may be the girl for you. She is very large so for showing pulling the hay the night before is recommended so she doesn't look like a beach ball with legs in the show ring đŸ˜‚. Silver is another hard cut I don't want to make but keeping these numbers in check it has to happen. Show home only! Planned pedigree in pictures. Show pictures are from last year. I have confirmed by ultrasound all 5 does due just after Christmas are indeed pregnant! These does were 24 days since their breeding date so we'll check them when they are around 45 to 50 days for an ideal kid expected count.

On another note I have of course changed my breeding schedule and you guessed it added on a few junior does to kid as yearlings. These girls are already at 40lbs and when they are bred in November they will be much bigger. The list for juniors does that will be kidding next year we will do a separate post once we get updated pictures of them.

This is an extremely hard cut decision but I have to be realistic with my growing dream genetic does I have to make room so a few cuts need to be made. This doe will only be able to go to the right home and Must be a show home. She had beautiful does this February as her first freshening kidding unassisted. Tenth Generation Bay of Gold (Goldie) is polled and blue eyed. She has a super sweet loving personality. Milks by hand and by machine. Beautiful hand milking teats with large orfices. She won her dry leg as a dry yearling at her very first show and first time ever on a collar. She also won Best Junior Doe In Show at that same show. She has a beautiful attached udder and nice blended foreudder. Goldie was exposed to two bucks for kidding over Christmas break. She can be confirmed bred this weekend by ultrasound. Her pedigree and planned breedings with the two bucks she was exposed to are in the pictures. She will leave with a breeding memo if she's confirmed bred. Kids will be DNA tested so her price will not be as high being bred with two nice bred bucks. Goldie also has met her requirement to earn her ST* milk star. She is just over 100lbs shy of making her AR milk star. Serious inquiries only. Located in Claverack, NY
