Let's discuss carpenter bees! If you own a barn, it's likely you have these insects. They bore holes into wood, lay eggs that hatch, and the next generation returns to the same area to create new holes for their eggs. Break this cycle using common household items. Apply Vicks or petroleum jelly to the holes after dark, and when the bees emerge in the morning, they will fall to the ground, unable to fly again. This method is a safe, efficient, and cost-effective way to eliminate these pests from your barn!
