Life on the farm isn’t quite as entertaining. We felt like Croix and Joix would like a bigger pasture, so they went to live with my best friend. I know it’s best, but we will miss sharing their comic relief.

My name is Jamie, and my biggest hobby includes 20Cent Farm! It technically began in 1979 when I was born then raised in our family farm. My dad had all kinds of animals therouhout my childhood and grew a large garden. He’s 79 and is still farming along.

After getting married, I lived in an area not suitable for farming but found myself missing the farm life more and more as the years went by. After 13 years, we sold our first home and began our journey home. Four years ago, we completed and moved into our forever home built on family land and next door to my parents.

The animals started piling in last year, which initially began with a pig obsession. We then discovered silkies and Polish chickens and began adding those as well. We also have two Kathadin sheep, a German Shepherd, a Great Pyranese, two Siamese cats, several kittens, two fish, and a ferret.

I currently sell Juliana and potbelly piglets that are born here. I’m no breeder, but love happens. We have one daddy and two great mommas. My future aspirations are to be have a larger flock to be able to sell more silkie chicks and eggs as well as Tolbunt Polish chickens and eggs.

Today was a day all farmers are proud to have. Julep gave us 4 Juliana girls, 2 gingers and 2 pink, all with perfect spots. We can’t wait to love on them until they are ready for their new homes!

Croix needed a friend, so we welcomed Joix to the family. She’s super shy and skittish, but we are working on sweetening her up! Also, we are pretty sure she’s white under all the red dirt.

This sweet family just got even sweeter. They adopted Peach and Peanut and will soon know how awesome piggy kisses are and how your heart wasn’t really complete without them. ✌🏻❤️🐽
