I wanted to share a little update about Autumn’s Hideout Bakery. 🤎
After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to downsize from a full booth at The Station to a bakery cart.
One thing I’ve realized over the past several months is that many people have been finding me on Google expecting a traditional, fully stocked bakery. While I’m incredibly thankful for everyone who has stopped by, that’s actually not what Autumn’s Hideout Bakery is.
Autumn’s Hideout Bakery is a small-batch bakery. Everything is baked in small quantities to ensure it’s as fresh as possible. Because of that, I don’t have shelves filled with baked goods all day, every day, and I can’t always restock throughout the week. (I actually mention this on my website in several places, but I know not everyone sees that before visiting.)
With the foot traffic at The Station, it became difficult to keep a full booth stocked the way I wanted while still maintaining the quality and freshness that are so important to me. Rather than filling shelves just for the sake of having product out, I’d rather continue baking intentionally and offering the best products I can.
This change will allow me to focus on what I love most—fresh bakes for farmers markets, neighborhood pop-ups, preorders, special orders, and my bakery cart at The Station.
I’m also looking to partner with local businesses that would love to offer fresh baked goods! If you own—or know of—a coffee shop, café, boutique, farm stand, winery, brewery, or another business that would enjoy carrying fresh cinnamon rolls, sourdough focaccia, cookies, bagels, oatmeal cream pies, or other baked treats, I’d love to connect.
Thank you all for supporting my little bakery and allowing me to continue growing in a way that stays true to what Autumn’s Hideout Bakery is all about. Your encouragement, shares, and purchases mean more than you know. 🤎
If you know of a business that might be a great fit, tag them below or send me a message!
