Well good things come to an end. My farming days are almost over. My family has let me be a farmer for over 22 years and now it’s time for them to start living an easier stress free life that includes a 10 min drive to the beach. We are going from farm life on 17 acres to neighborhood life on 1/3 of an acre. I have not lived in a neighborhood for 31 years. Gonna take some getting used to but the new place has a privacy fence and in a great neighborhood walking distance to some of the best fishing in Florida. A feed customer is buying our farm and going to continue to taise chickens, pigs and whatever else they want to do. All that being said, Ozzy from Yellow Brick Farms LLC has bought the feed business and will continue to make the best and freshest feed available at his farm. Nothing is going to change with the feed. He is gonna be farther for some and closer to some but please make every effort to continue to get the same great feed from him at the new location.
It has been a pleasure serving many of you over the past 8 years and am going to miss our little talks when you have stopped by to get feed. My phone will still work in Florida if you have any questions about your animals and as always if I don’t know I’ll point you to people that do. Now I am gonna have to start buying eggs chicken and pork from local farms in Florida but I will have and endless supply of the freshest seafood a fishing pole will catch.
