Tuesday's training.

Long reining really gives you a feel of your horse's straightness or lack of straightness.

You will learn so much about your horse. How they accept a contact, if they understand half halt, how smoothly they do their halt, walk and trot transitions.

How easy are they to steer school movements.

What is their stronger and weaker side. What's happening through the 3 parts of their body, the hindquarters, body and shoulders.

And much more.

Most importantly where they may try and position you and where your hands go. The aim is to have 2 arms, elbows and hands which stay like a pair like we are riding.

Fantastic way of improving your coordination and communication.
