I have to brag on my favorite little business partner for a minute. ❤️
This is Jace, and at 10 years old, he is part-owner of The Happy Camper and professional taste-tester.
As proud as I am of how hard he works, I’m even more proud of his heart.
Jace often chooses to give away his own hourly wages and tips to local causes and the offering plate at church. No one tells him to do it. He doesn’t make a big deal about it. He just quietly gives because he genuinely wants to.
At the Deuel Back-to-School Fair, we donated 10% of our sales back to the school. It was a great day, and we are thankful for all the support from our community. Jace was eager to deliver the donation check today.
My hope was that The Happy Camper would teach Jace a little about hard work, responsibility, money, customer service, and business. I didn’t expect him to learn life lessons about generosity, kindness, and giving back.
He may only be 10, but he’s already becoming one pretty incredible young man.
So yes… I’m bragging. And I’m not even a little sorry about it. 🥹❤️ My favorite part of this summer was getting to spend so much time with him in our little pink camper.🩷
