This is a post from the owner of Elly’s. It is worded better than I could express. We really need to embrace the few places we have on the waterfront. As a community we are so lucky to have people that are willing to work hard even when it’s tough going. As owners we all are doing more with less and sometimes the staff has to adjust. And they do! Thank you to everyone that works in the service industry in Clear Lake!

I just wanted to give a shoutout to three of our amazing outdoor dining spots on the lake—The Muskie, The Landing, and PM Park.
It’s not an easy time to be in the restaurant business. Food costs continue to rise, operating expenses keep climbing, and it’s impossible to make everyone happy all the time. Yet these businesses continue to show up every day, serving great food, creating jobs, supporting our community, and giving us some of the best places to enjoy summer on the lake.
I’ve seen some negativity lately, but I think it’s important to remember that behind every meal is a team of people working incredibly hard. If you’ve had a great experience, take a minute to let them know. A positive review or kind word can mean just as much as a complaint.
We’re fortunate to have these beautiful lakeside destinations right here in our community. Here’s to The Muskie, The Landing, and PM Park—thank you for all you do to make summers at the lake special! ☀️🌊🍔🍹
