✅👍🇮🇹 Thank you Elizabeth. I officially hired one of my customers to rewrite the instructions on my next re-order of printed pouches.

- 2 cups warm water
- 0.25 oz active dry yeast (included)
- 2-4 cups of Canola oil

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Remove sugar packet and yeast packet from package. Empty zeppole mix into a very large bowl. Set aside.

2. In a separate bowl, pour 2 cups of warm water. Add yeast. Stir and wait 2 minutes for yeast to activate.

3. Add the yeast/water mixture to the zeppole mix. Mix by hand (or with an electric mixer set to low) to create a smooth consistency. Cover bowl with towel or loose plastic wrap and set aside for an hour to rise.

4. Fill frying pan with 1” high of canola oil. Heat the pan over medium to medium-high heat, or 350° F.

5. Carefully tablespoon the dough into the hot oil. Fry each side for 90 seconds to a light golden brown. Remove cooked zeppoles from the frying pan, and place onto a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

6. Serve hot with powdered sugar.

I don’t know, it’s a toss up, but these are giving struffoli a run for their money as my top dessert. My friends at were kind enough to gift their mix to sample since I typically make my own, and, naturally, I had to take it over the top.
