This Bourbon & Peach Glazed Party Ribs and Peach Sour combo is seriously impressive, yet so easy to make 🥃🍖💨
I was so excited to get my hands on the new Bulleit Bourbon Mesquite Smoked Malt Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, and this rib + cocktail pairing showcases it perfectly.
👇 Recipe below 👇
For the ribs:
2 racks spare ribs, 1 cup sweet BBQ sauce, and your favorite sweet BBQ rub
(Homemade rub: 2 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp cayenne, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt, 1 tbsp granulated garlic)
For the glaze:
1/4 cup peach preserves, 1/4 cup sweet BBQ sauce, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 oz Bulleit Bourbon Mesquite Smoked Malt
Instructions:
Marinate ribs in BBQ sauce for at least 2 hours (overnight preferred). Cut into individual ribs, season, and smoke at 260°F for 3 hours. Paint with a simple mop sauce (1 cup water + 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar) every 30–45 mins.
After 2 hours, combine glaze ingredients and smoke for 1 more hour. Brush or dip ribs in glaze and let tack up for 10–15 mins.
For the Peach Sour:
1 oz peach preserves, 1.5 oz grilled lemon juice, 1.5 oz Bulleit Bourbon Mesquite Smoked Malt
Garnish with grilled nectarine or frozen peach
Grill lemons + fruit for 15–20 mins. Shake preserves, lemon juice, and bourbon together, add ice, shake again, and pour over ice. Garnish and enjoy 🥃
Sip responsibly. Do not share with those under 21.
