When the poults get older they start showing off more tom-like characteristics. While any turkey can strut, only Tom's can truly gobble, and young Jake's will gobble by time they're a couple months old!

Thanks to Jonathan Bice i managed to get my new poult brooder built! Some finishing touches are needed but it's in a state where I can actually use it!

Very, very glamorous. She's just a cranky old lady, but you can easily pick her up and move her around.

Spray painting the stock tank to make it absorb less heat is. A Chore. But this will help the stock tank Not get too hot...

Spray painting the stock tank to make it absorb less heat is. A Chore. But this will help the stock tank Not get too hot for the birds. Planning to spray paint both the outside and the inside walls, the floor will remain unpainted because it will be covered in bedding anyhow. I tested my hand against the painted and unpainted metal in the middle of the day and it's definitely making a difference!
