We're open today rain or shine. I also have a new sangria recipe I'm trying out. Today's the day to give it a try.

PS. Amy's just going to a real estate convention. She'll be back. Can't ditch me that easily!

We've been making friends at wine festivals across North Texas, and now we're bringing their wines to you.

This intimate tasting features 10 one-ounce pours from 7 different wines — all sourced directly from local North Texas wineries through trades made at regional festivals. It's a rare chance to taste across the region in one evening, without having to leave Johnson County!

Want to linger on a favorite? Additional pours are available for purchase. We'll also have flatbread and Wintergrass wines available throughout the evening.

We showed up. We poured. North Texas came out. 🍷

Last weekend we were at the Drink North Texas Wine Festival — and y'all did not disappoint.

If you stopped by our booth, thank you. If you're seeing us for the first time: hi, we're Wintergrass Vineyard & Winery out of Cleburne, TX. We grow grapes right here on our estate work with small growers here in Texas. Every bottle is carefully crafted ourselves.

You ever start a project and just... live with it being 80% done for way too long? That's been this trellis work. Today I finally got back out there and knocked out a few more rows. Not done yet, but making real progress. One row at a time. 🌿

Opening at 2pm today, May 29.

A week or so ago I hit a racoon with my car and took it (the car, not the racoon) to the shop. They gave us a rental and needed it back today. Since we're in Burleson we decided to stop for lunch at Rio Mambo. We hate to delay our opening but the fajitas were calling!

Wine Club Pick-up Party Option #1

Join us for a Wednesday night Wine Club pick-up party on May 13 from 4pm-8pm. This is an early opportunity for you to pick up your wineclub order and beat the Sunday rush. We'll have a charcuterie board for you to snack on, plus members receive a complementary glass of wine at the event where they pick up their wine. There is no charge for this event and you don't need a ticket.

And it's on Wednesday.

Wine Club Pick-up Party Option #2

Join us for our May Wine Club pick-up party on Sunday, May 17 from 2pm-6pm. Our theme for this month will be grilled cheese! Who doesn't love homemade sourdough bread wrapped around gooey cheese? We'll provide the sandwiches and club members are asked to bring sides to share. There is no charge for this event and you don't need to register. Members receive a complementary glass of wine at the event where they pick up their wine.
