The Talk Texan Family honors in our pics our Dads, major influencers in the lives and the story of Talk Texan BBQ. All 3 have earned their wings, gone but never forgotten.

Chuck Moore lit the initial flame of Texas BBQ as our Dad; John Rayfield Dad and Grandfather showed us the old man could out work the young buck any day, and Phillip Lujan, Dad, brother, son and BBQ brotha to many. Happy Fathers Day!

This made its debut into competition BBQ, 6 year ago today.
Of course, like anything else, Phillip was already selling it before the labels came off the printer, a few days before. One of the few, that he didn't end the name with "Rub". 💁‍♂️
Still the best goto for brisket, when wanting a little more than the spg, of the regular Brisket Rub.
