This past weekend, I took some time and got a few photos taken. I’m pretty impressed with Buddy! He has been busy with his ladies this summer, and is looking like quite the handsome dude. Excited to see his first calves this coming spring!

Dan’s Handy Tip: Tired of rodents eating holes in your bags of feed? Since I’ve been stacking my bags in these water troughs, no more holes in the bags. Rodents can’t seem to get over the lip of the trough.

Here is a pretty wild colored calf. We are used to mostly reds so this one will catch our eye all summer!

Here in Cleburne, TX we woke up to a chilly 14 degrees. A fresh coating of sleet pellets covering the ground. Thankfully we did not lose power. Dripping water lines and using emergency heat, we are ready for some warmer weather. Doing chores this morning you definitely needed a light wrap to keep warm! Be safe out there.
