This week, Jerry received Farmer of the Year at the Ag Awards Breakfast presented by Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and UGA Extension and Hall County Farm Bureau! David Lee, of Jackson EMC, announced Jerry’s honor. David shared with everyone that Jerry was born to farm! He loves the outdoors and nature, and takes the time to help others or volunteer in the community promoting agriculture. He farms part of the same land as his grandfather and the land he farmed with his dad and siblings. Sunday mornings, he’s at Bethel UMC leading the congregational singing. Any other day….he’s probably on a tractor! Congratulations Jerry Truelove! 🐮🚜
