Welcome, JunieBee Jones!

JunieBee entered the world at a whopping 8 lbs. 15 oz., with a head full of hair and a big smile that has already stolen our hearts.

She is being lovingly welcomed home by her proud big brother, Dow Jones, who is excited to show her the ropes around the farm and help keep an eye on his little sister. 💙👦

Mom and baby are doing great, and the entire Jones & Jones family couldn’t be more excited to welcome the newest generation to the farm. We have a feeling JunieBee will be inspecting watermelon fields, riding tractors, and keeping everyone on their toes before we know it!

🙏 Please Keep Our Farm Families in Your Prayers 🙏

As if farming doesn't bring enough challenges on its own, some of our farm families are facing difficult personal battles as well.

Please keep our Blodgett, Missouri Farm family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of a beloved family member. We also ask for prayers for Blake and Madelyn as they continue her journey through life-saving medical procedures in St. Louis.

We also ask for prayers for our Jacksonville, Georgia farm family as they support their mother through a significant life-saving surgery.

These families may not be related by blood, but they are family nonetheless. Through every season, every challenge, and every blessing, we stand together.

May God watch over them, provide comfort, healing, strength, and peace in the days ahead. ❤️

This Memorial Day, all of us at Jones & Jones Watermelons proudly remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

As a farm and family business founded by veterans who served in the United States Marine Corp, United States Coast Guard, and the United States Air Force, this day carries deep meaning for us. We are grateful for the sacrifices made by generations of American heroes who protected the freedoms we enjoy everyday.

From our fields to your family table, we thank those who served and especially those who never made it home. May we honor their courage, sacrifice, and legacy.

Farmers spend an entire year preparing for a crop.

They work the soil, order seed, install irrigation, nurture young plants in greenhouses, and carefully transplant every plant by hand. Day after day, they battle weather, disease, pests, rising costs, and uncertainty — all to grow the food that feeds our families.

Then comes harvest.

Every melon is picked by hand, hauled from the fields, packed into bins, boxed, labeled, stickered, and loaded onto trucks bound for stores across the country. Along the way, farmers absorb the costs of labor, supplies, packaging, fuel, and freight.

And if they’re fortunate, the farmer MAY earn about $1 per melon (gross profit) after a year of hard work and investment.

God bless our farmers and God Bless ALL Farmers!

May they continue this hard and honest work because it’s more than a job — it’s a way of life rooted in sacrifice, pride, and love for the land.
