This is what sisterhood, support, and collaboration look like. 💕✨

Two powerhouse women. Two incredible conferences. One weekend—and still, they made room to celebrate and show up for one another.

Meltrice Sharp and Dr. Tenora Edwards are brilliant, beautiful, accomplished women who understand that another woman’s success doesn’t diminish your own—it gives us all another reason to celebrate. Watching Meltrice honor Dr. Tenora as a trailblazer and seeing Dr. Tenora make sure she was there to support Meltrice, a trailblazer herself, was something special.

The Sweet Fix Bakery was honored to create these cupcakes for Dr. Tenora’s recognition. We love these two women dearly, and we’re grateful for the way they continue to love and support us, too.

The Sweet Fix Bakery family extends our heartfelt condolences to Pastor Vernon, Lady Vernon, and the entire Vernon, Williams and Carr families on the passing of Lady Vernon’s mom, our beloved Mother Williams. ❤️❤️

Mother Williams had a beautiful way of making everyone feel loved—always ready with a warm hug, a smile, and those unforgettable words, “Blessed by the Best!” We are grateful for the love and light she shared so freely with our church family. Her beautiful spirit will truly be missed, but the love she gave will live on in so many of us.

May God surround the entire family with His comfort, strength, and peace during this time. We love you and are keeping you close in our hearts and prayers. ❤️🙏🏽 Rest well, Mother Williams. Forever “Blessed by the Best!”

We had such a wonderful time seeing this incredible production AND an even sweeter time getting to know David Wilson, who brilliantly brings Mufasa to life, along with his lovely wife Shannon and their kids. ❤️ They came to visit us at The Sweet Fix Bakery twice, and we can officially confirm… Mufasa loves apple pie! 🥧👑 😂

The Sweet Fix Bakery is thrilled to welcome the world’s #1 musical, Disney’s The Lion King, ROARING into Playhouse Square from July 8 – August 16!

Visit us any time through July 15, 2026 to enter for a chance to win a family four-pack of tickets to the July 28 performance at 7:30 PM. Please note that there are no date changes allowed.

One winner will be selected at random at the end of the day on July 15, 2026, and contacted via email. The winner will have 48 hours to confirm before another winner is selected.
