There is this famous saying in the USA, "Everything is bigger in Texas,".

But we did not expect this in Montreal, Quebec — their breakfast is BIGGER than your head…. seriously 😳

And it tastes awesomely amazing too!

Back in October 2025 (a few months ago), I visited Arizona and learned that Sedona, Arizona is the only place in the USA that has the ONLY teal colored McDonald’s signage in the USA.

Today, I found another McDonald sign that is not “red” color.

Did you know?

I found this McDonald's with green signage while we were walking around Quebec City today. And this is the only green colored McDonald’s signage in Quebec City as well as in the entire Canada.

This color of signage promotes an eco-friendly, sustainable image of that specific location or branch.

If you are somewhere in Europe, you may also find some McDonald’s stores of this color.

🚨 Public Service Announcement from my husband at Casa Loma… 🤣

As soon as he saw the outdoor stairs leading up to the castle grounds, he stopped dead in his tracks, looked at me, and declared:

“Count me out. Climbing those stairs will require diapers before you even get to the top!” 😂

I looked up…

Then looked at him…

Then looked back at the stairs…

And for one brief moment, I honestly couldn’t argue with the man. 😅

These weren’t just stairs.

They were a full-blown cardiovascular examination with a scenic view.

Every ten steps someone was pretending to admire the flowers…

Nope.

They were negotiating with their lungs. 🤣

Meanwhile, my husband had already found the smartest sightseeing spot—the bottom of the hill—where he happily volunteered to “guard the entrance” while the rest of us questioned every life decision that brought us there.

The good news?

We made it.

The better news?

The castle is absolutely worth the climb.

The best news?

My husband never had to test his diaper theory. 😂🏰

There are some places that instantly make you feel like a kid again.

For me, it’s Jollibee. ❤️🐝

You guys just don’t know how happy this made me.

The moment I saw that familiar red bee, smelled the Chickenjoy, and heard people ordering in English, Filipino, and so many other languages, I couldn’t stop smiling. I was as excited as a little kid on Christmas morning!

Who wouldn’t be?

Growing up Filipino, Jollibee isn’t just another fast-food restaurant. It’s a place filled with memories—family meals after church, birthday parties, celebrations, and that unmistakable taste of home.

So having Jollibee for breakfast in Toronto, Canada? That was pure happiness.

No matter where in the world we go, finding a Jollibee always feels like finding a little piece of the Philippines waiting for us.

Sometimes, home isn’t a place…
