Hello to all of our new friends! We are so excited to launch our business and bring all of our enticing flavors to you! I started this business along with my mother-in-law, Rita. When my husband first introduced me to Rita she made us a massive spread of food. Everything was incredibly delicious and just bursting with flavors. Every time we eat at her house we leave happy and full (and with leftovers)! Rita knows just how to season each dish in a way that keeps it healthy and delcicious. During the warmer months we go to farmers markets together and pick up fresh veggies and fruits for our dishes. I still look back on the first time we went to a farmers market and then made sofrito together. I couldn’t wait to go home and try my hand at making a batch. I began making her recipe for all of my friends and family as Christmas gifts and everyone loved it. We really wanted to share the flavors and our joy of cooking with other people so we decided to start Rita’s Sofritas. Our business has expanded from sofrito and pesto to also offer a meal prep service. We are ecstatic to be able to bring to you our passion for food and cooking.
