Something exciting is taking shape right next door to The Roost! 🌿

We’re putting the finishing touches on a cozy RV farm stay at Wandering Trail Farms, complete with a pavilion and gas fire pit for guests to enjoy. Nestled near The Roost and our wonderful old barn, it’s the perfect spot to slow down, relax and experience the charm of the farm.

While work on The Roost at Wandering Trail Farms continues, we love seeing this another part of the property begin to come together.

Someday soon, our overnight guests will be just steps away from morning coffee, fresh-baked treats, shopping and more at The Roost. ☕🧁

The RV farm stay will be listed on Airbnb soon—stay tuned for the full reveal!

While we put the finishing touches on The Roost at Wandering Trail Farms, your custom orders will continue to be freshly prepared right here at Wandering Trail Farms and available by prearranged pickup.

Once The Roost opens, The Cupcake House will have its new home there, making pickups even sweeter!

Whether you're planning a birthday, baby shower, or just need cupcakes, cookies or cakes for a special occasion, we'd love to bake for you.

We spent some more time cleaning up and working in what used to be the old sunroom of the 1920 farmhouse—one of those spaces we honestly weren’t quite sure what to do with at first.

But after standing in the room one evening and looking out over the property, it finally clicked…this would make the perfect concession space for The Roost. ✨

With windows overlooking where our events and movie nights take place, we could instantly picture guests walking up to order popcorn, drinks, snacks, and treats while enjoying time here at the farm. 🍿🥤

The second photo is a mockup of the vision we have for the space, and seeing the before and after side by side makes us even more excited for what’s ahead. There’s still a lot of work to do, but it’s finally starting to feel like the plan is coming together.

This old farmhouse is slowly coming back to life, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you.

Right now, it’s just studs, dust, and a whole lot of imagination.

To most, this space probably doesn’t look like much—but to us, it’s full of possibility. This is part of the old 1920 farmhouse we’ve been working to bring back to life, and little by little, after starts and stops, that vision to turn it into an on-farm store is starting to take shape.

Stripping it down to the bones wasn’t the glamorous part…but it’s the part that makes everything else possible. Now we get to start building something meaningful in its place.

This space will soon be filled with the smell of fresh coffee, warm pastries, and breakfast sandwiches being made. It’ll be a place to gather, to slow down, and to enjoy a small piece of the farm in a new way.

We’ve had so many ideas and encouragement from this community, and we’re so excited to turn this blank space into something you’ll all get to experience with us. Keep the ideas coming!

It may not look like much today—but give us a little time.

Coming Soon: The Roost 🐓

If you’ve driven by Wandering Trail Farms lately, or been following us on social media, you’ve probably noticed—we’ve been busy bringing new life to our 1920 farmhouse as our farm store.

To start, we're planning a cozy coffee shop + other drinks, some baked goods, and breakfast sandwiches (and we'll keep adding more food items as we grow). We'll also have a concession area that opens for events and movie nights on the farm.

Inside, we'll create a thoughtfully curated farm store filled with locally sourced goods, seasonal staples, gifts, and a few fun surprises we can’t wait to share.

We’re still renovating and planning—and we’d love your input. What would make The Roost your go-to spot? Favorite menu items? Local vendors? Things you’re always searching for?
