Head Brewer
Job Description: We are a microbrewery passionate about quality beers and great customer service searching for a talented and motivated Head Brewer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the brewing process, from recipe development and production planning to quality control and team leadership. Size of brewery - 7 barrel system

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a brewing schedule that meets production targets and sales demands.
Create innovative and delicious new beers while maintaining consistent quality for core brands.
Manage raw material inventory and ensure efficient use of brewing equipment.
Oversee all aspects of the brewing process, including sanitation, fermentation, and packaging.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
Lead and motivate a brewing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Maintain accurate brewing records and collaborate with other departments like sales and marketing.
Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of brewing equipment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of professional brewing experience, ideally managing a similar-sized 7-barrel system.
Strong understanding of all aspects of the brewing process, including brewing theory, sanitation, and quality control.
Willingness to work hard and at often odd hours
Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills, a high degree of attention
Knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety
Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
Positive attitude and a team player in all aspects of the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Proficiency in brewery management software is a plus.
Passion for craft beer and a commitment to brewing high-quality beers.
