Vegan biscuit sammie from Enclave Cafe in Tremont. The tomatoes were a little bit sad on flavor for peak tomato season, but the biscuits were fantastic! Definitely will be back again to enjoy the biscuity goodness.

Holy smokes, this vegan ice cream sammie from Cleveland Vegan Catering & Cafe was DIVINE. Hands down, the best VEGAN ice cream sandwich I've had (and definitely one of the best vegan or not ice cream sammies I've ever had).

And it's enormous. I cut it in half, and a half was plenty. Can't wait to eat the other half tomorrow!

Salted chocolate peanut butter brownie ice cream sammie at Raisin Hell Vegan - what appeared to be the sole vegan item (other than drinks) at Taste of Tremont 😆, so I splurged. And it was really yum!

While I could give or take when it comes to their food menu, their vegan pastries and breads are well worth the 40 minute drive.

My weekend splurge included a cinnamon roll, cheesecake, a raspberry brownie, focaccia and a jalapeno cheddar bialys (not pictured). All were amazing as always.

The only reason I didn't mind getting stuck in construction traffic yesterday was that I happened to have this guy in the car with me to enjoy - chocolate Buckeye cake donut from the Vegan Doughnut Company. So fricking good. I forgot how much I miss cake donuts.

Finally tried Fenik's today!

Ordered a scoop of vegan chocolate peanut butter and a scoop of vegan cookie monster (described as "it's... blue with cookies"). My friend: "you have the tastes of a 5-year old." Server comes out with the ice cream and asks if we want him to put it in the freezer for now. We both look at him confused. "You said it was for a 5-year old so I thought you were taking it to go?" Friend: laughing his ass off.

Both flavors were awesome. No regrets.
