Cookspride Wilfong Farm Cookspride Wilfong Farm was originally owned by the Goodman family until it was willed to The Salvation Army.

Family owned farm in western Rowan County raising beef cattle - selling orchard grass square bales and fescue/ mixed grasses round bales - also selling Organic vegetable plants and other commodities.
704-213-4094 Ralph Cook, hence the name Cookspride, leased the farm from The Salvation Army, raised Holstein heifers, and grew various crops. In 1962 he and his wife, Mary Lea, purchased the farm whi

ch still remains in the family. The 78 acre farm now raises beef cows and grows hay. Recently the farm began a new venture, with the help of Neva Coker, by growing organic plants and produce. Our plants and produce can be purchased on the farm by appointment, at our roadside location at Amity Hill and Ostwalt Amity Road corner Monday-Wednesday and Fridays 4:30-7:00pm, or at Troutman Farmers Market which is Thursdays from 3:30-6:30pm April-September.
